Please join us for our Ash Wednesday worship, a solemn service marking the beginning of the pre-Easter season of Lent. The service invites worshipers into the repentance and reflection associated with the Lenten season, including the option of participating in the imposition of ashes on the forehead or hand, a Biblical symbol of repentance before God. The service is a meaningful transition into the 40 days of Lent, during which we commit to spiritual self-examination and renewal of our relationship with our God, as we prepare for the celebration of our highest holy day, the Resurrection of the Lord on Easter. The members and pastoral staff of our sister church in Bay Ridge, Fourth Ave. Presbyterian Church, will be joining us for the service.
